Pressemitteilung
Philippe Parreno hat das Ausstellungserlebnis revolutioniert, indem er Galerien in choreografierte Räume verwandelt, die sich wie ein Drehbuch entfalten. Seine Ausstellungen sind immersive Reisen, bei denen parallele Realitäten miteinander verbunden sind und eine Reihe unerwarteter, voneinander abhängiger Ereignisse schaffen, die die Wahrnehmung von Raum, Zeit und Grenzen verändern.
„Voices“ wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Leeum Museum of Art in Seoul (28.2.–7.7.24) konzipiert. Zwei koordinierte, aber unterschiedliche Ausstellungen teilen sich gemeinsam in Auftrag gegebene Werke, ein Buch, das alle sprachbezogenen Texte von Philippe Parreno sammelt, einen Katalog und ein übergreifendes Konzept der Zusammenarbeit über Kontinente, Kulturen und Sprachen hinweg.
Die Ausstellung wird von der Ulli und Uwe Kai-Stiftung unterstützt. Kuratiert von Andrea Lissoni mit Lydia Antoniou und Hanns Lennart Wiesner.
