About this exhibition catalogue
Simultaneously playful and humorous, Phyllida Barlow’s monumental sculptures test the limits of mass, height, and spatial volume, reflecting upon our relationship to the environment through the use of industrial and everyday materials. Her works constantly challenge the audience to readdress their relationship to the sculptural object and the world. Featuring striking installation images and previously undisclosed drawings and photographs, this volume presents Barlow's unique body of work from the 1960s to the present.
Edited by Damian Lentini with contributions by Phyllida Barlow, Briony Fer, Damian Lentini, Lisa Paland, Alex Potts, Gilda Williams, and Ulrich Wilmes.
