About the publication

“Voices – A Collection of Spoken Works” is the first transcription of various voices in artworks by Philippe Parreno, written by the artist between 1990 and 2021. This unique anthology offers a kaleidoscopic portrait of one of the most visionary artists of the present and provides a rare access into his invented worlds.

The voices encapsulated in this book form a creature unto itself, communicating via narratives that lie between reality and fiction, ideas that transcend time and space, in ways that surpass our conventional understanding of language and communication.

This publication is co-produced by Haus der Kunst, München and Leeum Museum of Art, Seoul.

During the exhibition, the publication is available at the museum box office and the Walther König bookshop. Additionally, it can be ordered by mail at any time. Please contact us at versand@hausderkunst.de.
