Zeynep Bozbay

Zeynep Bozbay was born in Berlin in 1992 and gained early experience working for various youth theater groups, including P14, the youth theater of the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. In 2011 she appeared in “Clash” by Nurkan Erpulat at the Deutsches Theater Berlin (invited as part of the Theatertreffen der Jugend 2011) and in 2012 she commenced study at the Thomas Bernhard Institute, Mozarteum Salzburg; graduating in 2016. Bozbay participated in numerous productions during her studies, and appeared as part of the 2014 Salzburg Festival (directed by Alvis Hermanis), before joining the ensemble of the Landestheater Niederösterreich St. Pölten for their 2016/17 season.

Bozbay’s first appearance for the Munich Kammerspiele was in 2016, as  part of Nicolas Stemann's world premiere of Elfriede Jelinek's "Rage". Since the beginning of the 2017/18 season, Zeynep Bozbay is a permanent member of the Munich Kammerspiele.
