About Andrea Éva Győri

Andrea Eva Győri graduated from the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Kunste, Stuttgart, in the class of Christian Jankowski. She was an artist in residence at Jan Van Eyck Academie in Maastricht, and Kunstlerhaus Schloss Balmoral Bad Ems. Győri has had solo exhibitions at the Vleeshal Center for Contemporary Art in Middelburg, and the Grimmuseum in Berlin and has presented her work at Manifesta 11 in Zurich, Victoria Art Center in Bucharest, Seoul Museum of Art, Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts in Taipei, Bundeskunsthalle Bonn, Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden, Bonner Kunstverein, Videonale15 Bonn, Kunstverein Familie Montez in Frankfurt, Seoul Art Space-Seogyo, 12th Fellbach Triennial of Small-Scale Sculpture, and the Wurttembergischer Kunstverein in Stuttgart. She has organized performances at the Kunstmuseum Bonn, Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw, me Collectors Room Berlin/Stiftung Olbricht, W139 in Amsterdam, Portikus in Frankfurt, Heidelberger Kunstverein, Venice Biennale in the Hungarian Pavilion, WIELS Contemporary Art Centre in Brussels, Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart, and Kunstlerhaus Stuttgart.
