Event overview

In 2018, “Rechte Räume” (Radical Right Spaces) launched an architectural history discussion about the connection between building cultures and right-wing thinking. The focus was primarily on urban spaces, the designs of which were closely connected to radical right-wing ideas. Just how much the rise of the right has an effect on culture in general and architecture in particular will also be explored with this project of the Institut für Grundlagen moderner Architektur und Entwerfen (IGmA) at the University of Stuttgart. In order to convey the research results, “Right Spaces Walks” are being conducted in various cities and are now gradually being implemented on film. The film contributions will be presented in Haus der Kunst and discussed with the audience in a live stream event.
