Programme
Music Workshops (Treppenhaus Süd)
Making sounds, rhythms, and music is a basic human instinct. These workshops offer hands-on insights into the many sides of music-making – and invite you to join in and experiment.
11 – 11.45 am & 12 – 12.45 pm
Matthias Well – A Musical Journey Around the World
1.45 – 2.45 pm
Jonathan Bockelmann – The sound of the guitar
3 – 3.30 pm & 3.45 – 4.15 pm
Haidhausen Music School: Discover Instruments, Early Music Education
4.30 – 5.15 pm
Haidhausen Music School: Body Percussion
Screen Printing Workshop (Atelier 1)
Screen printing is a bold, expressive technique that lets you mix graphics, drawings, and text. Bring a T-shirt, sweatshirt, or bag and print your favourite MMMHaus design. Blank T-shirts are also available on site for a small fee.
Printing from 10 am – 6.30 pm
Breaks: 11.30 am – 12 pm, 1.30 – 2 pm & 3.30 – 4 pm
Porcelain Workshop (Atelier 2)
We’re setting up a mini porcelain studio just for you. In 60-minute workshops, you’ll get to know this unique material, try out the potter’s wheel, and build something with your own hands. We’ll fire your favourite piece – and you can collect it at Open Haus on 27.6.25.
Start times: 10.30, 11.30 am, 1.30, 2.30, 4.30 & 5.30 pm
Family Tours (Meeting point in front of the exhibition)
In our family tours, children take centre stage. Instead of a classic guided tour, we focus on exchanging thoughts and impressions together.
In “Philippe Parreno. Voices”, we’ll take you on a journey into unfamiliar worlds. In “Shu Lea Cheang. KI$$ KI$$”, we explore the topic of waste in playful and thoughtful ways.
Adults/accompanying persons aged 18 and over need a valid exhibition ticket.
10.30 am & 2.30 pm
Family tours on “Philippe Parreno. Voices”
12 & 4 pm
Family tours on “Shu Lea Cheang. KI$$ KI$$”
Upcycling Workshop (Terrassensaal)
Design your own jewellery using old electronic waste – and turn trash into treasure.
10.30 am – 6.30 pm
Break: 1 – 2 pm
Playground (Terrassensaal & Terrace)
Fun for everyone! Discover the Public Possession bouncy castle, a drawing and colouring table sponsored by LAMY, ping pong tables, a face-painting station, Holi colours and more.
Let’s meet, make & move!
10.30 am – 6.30 pm
Skatepark (Terrace)
At the skatepark, experienced skateboarding coaches will help you learn the basics – and maybe even land your first trick.
For ages 6 and up.
Skating from 10.30 am – 6.30 pm
Breaks: 12.30 – 1.30 pm & 3.30 – 4.30 pm

Please note that photographs and videos will be taken during the MMMHaus events. The material may be published in connection with Haus der Kunst on social media, in the newsroom, and on the website. We aim to avoid capturing recognisable faces of visitors, but this cannot always be guaranteed. Please contact our staff upon arrival if you or your child do not want to be photographed or filmed under any circumstances.
MMMHaus – Meet Make Move is presented by Haus der Kunst in collaboration with Public Possession.
Special thanks to the International DANCE Festival Munich for partnering on the dance workshops, and to FREITAG for producing the banners made from recycled truck tarps featuring designs by Public Possession.
