With a flair for lines, space and color
Pure painting! A live online workshop for ages 15 to 99
The award-winning British artist Phyllida Barlow is best known for her expansive sculptures made from industrial and low materials. Over decades she has also created an impressive body of graphic work, in which she explores the impact of color in the spatial and planar context and in dialogue with painting and sculpture.
In this workshop, we use more informal elements to experiment with the effect of color, line and plane on each other and their physicality in the image How does color acquire heft and line three-dimensionality? Under the guidance of an art educator, you will familiarize yourself with some of Barlow’s works in the exhibition and develop your own formal and visual language.
After registering, you will receive a material list and the link to our Zoom workshop. The technical requirements are a reliable internet connection, as well as a PC, tablet or the like with a webcam and microphone.
The number of participants is limited.
This workshop can also be booked for private groups. Please do not hesitate to contact us: email@example.com.
