- Workshop for teens & adults in German
- Reservation required
- 5 € plus admission
Heidi Bucher’s interest in the human body, fashion, and spatial structures was already apparent in her early work. The artist’s “Bodyshells,” large, soft, and portable sculptures made of foam, as well as her “Landings to Wear,” which adorned the cover of a German edition of Harper’s Bazaar magazine, attest to this. Bucher’s drawings on paper explore the treatment of the human body and space, of concealing and revealing. In the workshop, we will develop the process of transforming the human form into an animated sculptural work on paper. In addition to conventional paints, linseed oil and mother-of-pearl pigments— materials Bucher also uses for her works on paper — will also be available for use.
