Lyra Pramuk’s music is polyphonic in a supernatural sense. Her rich, deeply moving tapestries of sound are often composed entirely of her own voice which she alters, combines, and reconfigures using software. This interaction with the machinic is an integral part of the recursive logic that fuels her creative process. Her compositions bridge the divide between the corporeal and the artificial, renegotiating perceptions of what is ‘vocal’ and what is not. Largely wordless, her songs become a field of experimentation for new possible forms of vocal interaction. Pramuk’s concert tells a story that words couldn’t tell.
The concert is part of ECHOES, a live programme of performances. It takes place over the three days of 21-23.7.23.
With the ECHOES pass for 35 € you have free access to the events of the live exhibition on all three days. It is available at the museum box office and online. You can pick up your ECHOES pass at the Haus der Kunst box office on your first visit to ECHOES by presenting your online ticket. So please plan some extra time for this.
