Event overview

Participation in the symposium is only possible for people who have already registered.

Accessible language is a tool to facilitate entry to art and culture, with the aim to create an inclusive space that welcomes as many people as possible. But what is the difference between simple language, plain language and standard language, and how are these language forms already used in the art context?

The symposium will discuss how museums and exhibition halls are increasingly using information in plain language, thereby promoting accessibility and inclusion.

Plain language is the focus of various lectures by experts, presentations of field-related projects and of discussions in the symposium.
