Event overview
Using latex as a material, Swiss artist Heidi Bucher creates imprints of walls and floors that she calls skins. Her latex skins appear organic, almost alive. They are reminiscent of human skin, on whose surface experiences, relationships and emotions are inscribed. In this way, she gives us a glimpse into the 1970s and at the same time reveals power structures of the society of that time.
Our guided tour is aimed at blind and visually impaired people, their companions as well as sighted art lovers who would like to come into contact with art from a different perspective. We approach Heidi Bucher's work through precise descriptions and in open exchange with the group.
