Info
Do you already have plans for the holidays? Come visit us at Haus der Kunst! During the school holidays, we offer workshops for children aged 8 to 12. Here, you can experiment with colours and techniques, discover what's happening in our everyday lives, make new friends, and most importantly, have lots of fun. In the carnival holidays, the workshop will thematically connect to the current exhibition “Shu Lea Cheang. KI$$ KI$$,” which explores trash and recycling.
This holiday, we'll embark on a fantastic journey into the future, where we crash-land on Earth as aliens from the future, only to find a planet full of trash. Among the waste, we discover a "message in a bottle" left by ancient Earth inhabitants for future generations. What will it say?
Together, we design our own time capsules, bring seemingly worthless objects to life, and transform them into unique stories – whether as a play or stop-motion animation.
By the end of the workshop, we will have not only created new worlds but also demonstrated how creativity can turn the old and forgotten into something entirely new and exciting.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact Camille Latreille: latreille@hausderkunst.de – 089-21127 188.
The workshop is supported by the City of Munich – Josef-Schörghuber Stiftung für Münchner Kinder.
